Enjoyed the video. Interesting and entertaining. A lot of cool spots that you explain very well.

I think the flop lead is good with our hand, but facing this small flop raise is interesting...I would guess the intuitive reasoning behind raising his specific hand is he doesn't expect to face a 3b very often, and almost never by a hand he is crushing in equity. So by raising this flop lead small, he realizes a higher share of his equity for a cheaper price and is able to better define your range depending on how you respond.
I am far from a gto wizard, but it seems as if he is exploiting the current meta with this raise, as I can't see how his play earns the most at equilibrium.
Also, I am curious if you have a general idea of what you would 3b in this spot facing his raise?
For one his raise is clearly for value.
Then it'll be a lot easier to proceed on turns and rivers when our hand - albeit strong equity wise - has no nut potential. Third point is that with the J blocker it will be extremely hard for villain to come over the top. Also we want J blocker hands in our raising range for the times we hold JJ. I think raising is way superior to calling in this spot.
Lautie ended up having the Jh. Do you think his line to call on a two tone board isn't too bad if he plans to bluff all non pairing river hearts? Another interesting part of the hand is the colbus had the Kh. But that blocker seems almost irrelevant as lautie should have a lot of AhAxxh to call turn and would have probably cbet flop with AhKhxx so that blocker doesn't seem to be too significant.
That hero call by Cobus at 17min is terrible. How do you react to a river raise there with flopped Top and bottom pair after it checks through twice and no straights or flushes get there?
21:30, turned nut straight with 9 high flush redraw, facing a bet. (Board is A265ss, Hero has 345s9s).
In situations like this, what would factor into your decision to flat vs. raise here? Obviously raising has the benefit of realizing maximum EV vs. nut straights without the redraw, but that's a pretty low probability here since 34XX is not a huge part of villain's range.
How do we react to rivers when the flush gets there and villain bets large? How about rivers that pair the board, or give higher straight possibilities? Do we bet for value when checked to on these rivers?
Hello! Interesting video!
First of all this is the first of your videos that I have seen. Let’s go with the questions.
- Min 2:00 board 665KK, I think that we should raise this hand on river.We have more Kings in our range so it will be a good spot for to bluff. But if we don’t raise this hand it will be difficult to have a good success with our bluffs.
- Min 7:00 hand JTTKdd I think that our bet in turn is quite close. I think is one of the best hands for to X. What are you doing if he X push?
- Min 31:30 you are doing a Xbh with nut straight against two opponents and in position. I think you can balance your range with worst straights. We are losing a lot of value IMO. Maybe with some combo of nut straight + top set or similar would be understood.
And about your general game, why are you opening to minOR, do you think that the opponents don’t defend enough good the bb or your game is decently better than the medium player in this level?

Really enjoyed this video, 3 tables live + relpayer is a very nice format. Thanks again and hope to see more like this one.
@6:00 colbus vs lautie.
