It is an interesting format but not as interesting as your 6max format videos. They are a little less monotonous. That being said all of your videos are valuable and enjoyable.
What made you lean shove over block/calling? Just due to the fact that AKd plays fairly poorly after the flop x/block/call node but has enough equity on flop vs BB range? Initially I had leaned block/call expecting us to have enough equity vs combo draw shoves and random pairs but maybe if we get outplayed a bit on later streets your line is better. I guess your line is also good in that folding out a hand like 5d6d is probably a good result @ SPR 1.4
9x, esp with a club blocker. it's a weird spot where my range isn't that high freq to B turn/river on this runout because im low in 9x combos, Ax combos. i end up betting some 2PR/sets/9x/aces up/A2/FL/TT-KK type of range here.
I also wanted to note that the Ac is a good enough card OOP gets a ~20% leading freq. If OOP doesn't find the leading frequency I should only value bet Ax+, and mostly choose larger sizings.
great videao,
at min 2.24: why it is better to call 98o with a heart, when we are blocking opponent's most obvious bluffs (flush draws)?
27 min in 3b pot K96r, IP uses small sizing, do u think this small IP's sizing is better than bigger one? Since it seems to me it easier to find bluffs for big sizing than value bets, but with smaller sizing we can find them easier.
35:50, on what blocker effect u pick your bluffs for bet OTR after checking turn?
@2:24- Good point, I'm not sure what effect is bigger here. Having a heart will increase our EV on heart rivers as our bluff will be more efficient, but he'll have fewer bluffs. I'm not sure which effect is bigger.
@27- Any sizing that appears at equilibrium is fine. At this node I expect a range of small-medium sizings to appear, perhaps as small as 25% pot and as large as 75% pot.
@35:50- On river I believe we want babies because they do a good job blocking the A4/A3 stuff that does more calling and unblocks the KT stuff that does more folding. I think the blocker effects are small here though and we just mix a bunch of 0EV XX hands. I might be wrong about this one though.
5 :22 why do u call ott with 86 and u r always folding river with all the run-outs except 8 and 6 and plus ur opponent is never shutting down otr
18:55 is there any hand u ll call here vs a lead river 2x pot after checking twice
At 2:23, how is it better when you have a heart? And as most people don't double barrel their hearts, not having a heart allows him to have his flush draws, which will check fold the river?
I think he means that the fold is better if he's holding a heart, as this reduces the number of combos the opponent can have of FDs, and thus increases the probability that opponent is holding a value combo. As such, the fold becomes better, as it's less likely villain is holding a FD combo that Ben could float turn and bet river, or raise turn, to make fold.
Or, I'm totally wrong :) the comment from him confused me as well.
No I think he actually means it that it's better to call with a heart on the turn as he has mentioned on the other comment as it increases our ev of bluffing on flushing rivers .
33:00 Isn't he raise bluff with Jdx, 4x+diamond something, rather then Kx? Kx+diamond seems like a good bet-call hand - LlinusLlove style bet-call with weakest valuebets/blockbets on river :)

@ 55:00 Are you betting turn with some stronger Jx or going more polarized with Kx+ and bluffs?
maybe a small amount of AJ but mostly Kx+

K2o 14:00.
For this river sizing, what the bottom of the value range for that bet sizing? A9+?
Been playing all PLO lately so having a hard time following.
I think mostly FL+
T6o 49.00
whats worst hand you have for value on river?

Liked this format and your comments, would love to see more this kinds of videos against a tough opponent like frabb!
Yeah +1 these hu matches are by far the most enjoyable + informative to watch.

Hey, sauce, thanks for the vid, really clear though process.
7'05'' on 7sQdThJs4d you said that "we should be seeing at least 2 sizes here", based on his value regions.
I'm trying to craft my strategy from a conceptual stand point and i'm feeling a little bit confused about the process of building sizes.
What is the process that you suggest to design reall well crafted ranges as PFA on the river?
Thanks!
