Hi Sin Karma! greeting from Hong Kong. I would like to ask how do you decide your bet sizing on the flop? I realize that on paired board you are betting quarter of the pot and bet one third on board that hit your range like A high board.
21:00 A7hh on 10 9 4 rainbow, you cbet one third of the pot. Is it because you want to get a cheap turn or see if villain range is capped?
19:20 Q9ss on 852 rainbow, you cbet 75percent of the pot. Is it because you raise UTG and your perceived range is strong or you want more fold equity?
You are my favorite teacher, and I have been watching your videos. thank you very much! I would like to ask could I send hands I played to you? It would be great if I can get advice from you.
Regards

  1. Your first question doesn´t have a short answer but mainly I studied tendencies with Pio solver in order to choose the best sizings postflop.

  2. A7hh in that situation benefit from a small size because you are forzing the BB to call with Weaker hands, also you have way more often weak pairs or as Highs than strong hands and when that happens you usually want to bet small on the Flop.

  3. In UTG our range benefit from Stronger sizings because we have way less offten weak Pairs or As highs with enough value to win the pot in the River after Cbet XX XX or Cbet XX Call. (Also boards with low cards like T63 862 etc are better for stronger sizings in general, I would still bet small if the board has straights possible like 785 etc)

Thank you for your kind words! I am not doing private coaching because I dont have time but I hope my videos can help you,

Regards!

Hey Elias ... do you think EP (tighter ranges) should on average have a bigger cbet sizing than LP (looser ranges) vs BB scenarios? Thx.

Yes, 100%. The main reason is the value of AS highs / Low pocket pairs in late, they benefit from smaller Cbet sizings in order to get value from weaker hands.

I keep checking almost everyday if new Elias videos!! You need to make vods more often, I've tried to watch your Youtubes, but I just don't understand Spanish, I tried to put on subtitles in English, but the translation was horrible lol, stuff like "Here we should alcohol" (makes no sense lol). I'm also wondering, that course you're making for micro stakes players, will that also be in Spanish, or in English?

Best regards, a sad Norwegian <3 (All I want in life is more Elias content!!)
