I thought people make more mistakes against it, but I dont think so. I think they make more mistakes if they call preflop with a wider range against our smaller open.
Dekkers 37:29 you chose to use a polarizing sizing on 974r with QJo. I also noticed you change your bet sizing a lot preflop. I see you open 3x, 2.5x and slightly over 3x. You opened AA 3x from like EP you also opened 88 for like $3.13 like first hand of the video. With QJ on 974 as an exploit do you think its better to have a 1/3 and 2/3 sizing here? Usually having two bet sizes increases your overall ev if you look at some sims from Mark or Kevin. With that said I would bet some draws and 9x+ hands for like 2/3 sizing and some weaker draws and weaker over cards like your QJ not much of a bd for like 1/3. Especially on 100NL I don't think anyone will notice.
Lastly I've seen some players open 2.5x UTG, MP, CO, then open 3bb BTN and 4bb SB. Because player in position usually gains more EV and players are not 3 betting wide enough from the blinds it makes sense to have larger sizing when pushing equity. I know in the past people liked to use smaller sizing as their range got wider to give them a better price on their bluffs and keep oop range wide. What do you think about this strategy of bigger bets IP and smaller bets oop preflop?
Yes agree with you. Dont be afraid people will know your strategy, they dont.
You can built a strategy for any preflop size. If you use the bigger size its a bit harder to play postflop(range from the caller will become stronger so you cant just close your eyes and cbet 1/3)
Dekkers 39:44 with Kh4h on 6h3h9x5hTh board you stated you would have to fold if you get raised on the river. You only bet 20% pot $10 into $50, don't you think this sizing will induce a lot of bluffs so your Kh you would have to call majority of the time? Seems unrealistic to only raise with the nuts and never call anything vs raise.
Not sure it matters much, it's just the fact your river bet will induce some bluffs. To say someone never bluffs against a 1/5th bet on the river doesn't make sense.

Which kind of hands you think he can bluff?
