Minute 5 with 65s, you say we have 0 FE equity on the king turn. I Don't think the off suit King hits any parts of their ranges particularly well, unless they have the King hi flush draw. The Button is going to show up with 77-JJ quite often and will be in a tough spot facing a second barrel with the other player left to act. Its also not a clear call with a hand like ThJh in his shoes. In regards to the player in the small blind, he will also be in a tough spot with his flush draws OOP, having a tough time realizing his implied odds if his flush draw completes. Its a standard barrel for me with our specific holding, blocking sets and having enough equity against the stronger parts of their range that still might fold to turn barrel.
Minute 6 with TT, i dont think IP is raising us for value with a hand thats worse than TT, with us being uncapped, and 1 other player left to act that is also uncapped. I think we're facing a range of flush draws and Jx, unless IP is particularly weak as a player
In regards to the 67o fold on T6xr at minute 37, do you not think this is a board most opponents are betting with range? If so, the call seems weakish, but I understand if your game plan is to play solid and prevent yourself from getting double barreled too often.
Minute 42 last hand with KQss. If we assume our value bets on river are sets, T8s/QTs,and AQss, KQss, QJss, that gives us around 17 value bets, compared to around 10 missed flush draws Axss, KJss, 67ss, 97ss. Given this composition of value to bluff, we should be aiming closer to pot with our betsize. When our opponent rivers a Queen, that futher reduces our value bets, but when he also holds the As, that significantly reduces our flush combinations, so I'm not sure how to juggle that equation. Do you still prefer betting a smaller amount to induce lighter calls yet remaining exploitable, or would you prefer picking an unexploitable sizing, even though the bet will get called significantly less?
Hello,
Thanks for putting your time for such a comment, David.
For the 65s hand, your idea of betting the turn is great, although I would be careful barreling against some player types who are more stubborn. If bu never folds 77-JJ, we end up putting money in a spot where we have ~20% eq multiway, a bit more if sb folds. I think when playing zoom game, where players are more likely to fold, betting here is a bit better than checking.
The TT hands is a simple in a way, that flop is an easy call given these pot odds and one more fact that a regular is not likely to give us good price to outdraw his Jx so his range is supposed to be slightly weaker.
I think by 67o hand, you meant the 67s hand which I had in the BB. Given the pot is multiway, we have to defend 67% of the time collectively with mp. With the range I have preflop here, I'm going to have tp+ ~25% of the time and if include gutters and some AJs type hands with bdfd, I will be defending ~38% which should be enough. With this range, I will have very easy decisions OTT and its unnecessary to include hands like 67s w/o bdfd.
KQss vs weaker player. Do not over complicate things when playing vs weaker players, their ranges are mostly face-up. If you think that they have a weak holding, just bet big and make them fold, If you have a hand which can get value when he is likely to fold, bet smaller. Elastic sizings vs elastic ranges!
First video I watch from you. I liked it and also I also liked the explaination. Having a clearer audio would be a bit better. Good content so far, I'll make sure to watch your past vids aswell :)
Nice video.
Table 2 at 37:50 (AQo in SB). Once he 5bets to $38.50 and there is $61.50 in the pot, do you think it is better to just move all in preflop? Since there is some chance you win that money risk free if he folds and if you flat you might be pushed off your equity?
As played, by the river, what are your thoughts on betting around $40? since his range kinda looks like AK or JJ/TT which will get a better price by betting smaller. Also, it seems somewhat difficult for you to have many bluffs in this spot
Thanks. I've had a read on that opponent which I can't reveal as it would be unfair from his perspective. As for bluffs, it would be easy for me to find any suited junk, Kxs e.g which i 4b and decided to call a 5b getting good odds.

do u mind telling us whats the color coding stand for?
Hi,
I've told this in my previous vids, but they are something like: red = reg, green = weaker player
