great flop for me so I did check-raise him
he just made a call so I removed any set from his range (*can I remove the top two pair AJ here?)
maybe he has 9T+ some back doors or A top pair+ (if he loose)

I'd prefer a x/r on turn on a blank more than a flop x/r.
Any card 9 or higher (obv not an Ace or Jack) becomes hard to play and with your hand that's strong now, but needs a good run out for you to be able to value bet twice and you can put a ton more money in with a turn x/r.
With an opponent that is this aggressive (small sample, I know) I'd expect a double barrel and you kind of under rep your hand and if the board does pair he may go broke with a smaller boat.
As for the river, I doubt you can get value. I'd check to check call and let him bluff all his QT9 or KQT hands. If he has a flush, that's unfortunate - but you can't really fold here, the price is too good.
Thanks Snowman for your advice! I could think this hand another way : )
Question: What are you hoping happens when you check/raise the flop?
I'm not saying the play is right or wrong, I'm just interested to see how you're thinking about your play here.
honestly speaking I put him on a kind of bad aggro at that time based on the hud that I think not that good with just small sample.. so I thought I could get value from him also I wanted get all in with his one pair type hand or some weak draw (although we have weak SD..)
now I regret that I was not thinking deeply about his range and my range also about whether my betting is for value or bluff.. I am sure I just played like a bot : (
I feel I still need to learn a lot about PLO..
Thank you for your question Tom and always welcome any advice and comments :D
I prefer x/c'ing on flop, our hand doesn't play fantastically in a x/r'ed pot OOP. If he 3bets on flop it's gonna be tricky because we are most likely behind but still have good equity. If he flats our raise (like he did in this hand) we have some awkward turns - say turn comes K/J/T/9 and now what? On the other hand, by just flatting on flop we retain a good amount of implied odds on turn/rivers that improve us, allow him to keep bluffing, etc.
I'd raise on flop with either a stronger or weaker hand than this. This hand is not terribly strong for value x/r, but it's strong enough to continue on most turn/river in a single raised pot.
I should learn more about how think the line and range also which cards on the turn how magically change our equity and need to change our line.. thanks midori as always ! :D
