Zoom 25$ / ***** 3 ways OOP Deep / lost

BN: $16.28
SB: $60.74 (Hero)
BB: $89.40
UTG: $89.23
HJ: $36.51
CO: $16.52
Hi,

BB is a reg, on the loose/passive side. BTN 29/17/3 3Bet open 33% but only 85 hands. The stats make me think is not really aware of position, so fish.
Preflop ($0.35) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt 5 7 6 4
UTG folds, HJ folds, CO folds, BN raises to $0.75, Hero calls $0.65, BB raises to $3, BN calls $2.25, Hero calls $2.25
Here I always struggle, sometimes I raise, sometimes I call but no specific guidelines.
When BB pot I'm sure is good. I don't want to play Big OOP vs better ranges, but 3 ways IMO this hand sucks.
Flop ($9.25) A 8 9 (3 Players)
Hero checks, BB bets $8.62, BN raises to $13.28, and is all in, Hero calls $13.28, BB calls $4.66
I don't think I can fold, should I raise here, call a reraise from BB ? VS AA i m not so bad.
Turn ($49.09) A 8 9 T (3 Players)
Hero checks, BB checks
??
River ($49.09) A 8 9 T 7 (3 Players)
Hero checks, BB checks
Final Pot
Hero has 5 7 6 4 BB has A 5 K K Hero wins $46.84

Comments welcome.

Cheers

I prefer 3betting here for the same reason you said you weren't happy to flat the 3bet: the hand plays better HU. Infact, it's never in THAT much trouble HU. Also covers some of the boards your value 3betting range from the sb misses completely.

I second the 3-bet notion. Playing 1st to act in a multiway single-raised pot isn't a great spot for this hand. HU they play better, and you can call a 4-bet.

The low double-suited rundowns (especially those without gaps) are also good for low board coverage in 3-bet pots. You'll have to check a lot on boards like 8 7 3. With low rundowns in your range, you'll have some hands that are great to check-jam on those boards, much to Villain's dismay.

Agreed, once you get to the turn this way you just have to shove. You can't really check/fold with a straight and 2 flush draws (esp. if you expect him to have AA a decent amount) so why not just get your money in now? You won't be comfortable betting or check/calling the river no matter what comes as you can't draw to the nuts.
