The Tom Coldwell videos are nice. I feel like they help more after playing for a bit. If you know absolutely nothing about plo it kind of goes over your head.

I'd aim for a 1:1 study to play ratio in the beginning. as for studying:

  • mark all hands where you don't know what to do and then try to figure it out using ProPokerTools etc, if you can't come to a conclusion post the hand and your attempt to figure it out on the forums.
  • play less tables, try to figure out your sweetspot between being bored and being overwhelmed
  • if you play zoom stack sizes change every hand so they might be harder to learn at
  • study one video at a time, don't rush through it, take notes and try to really understand every concept. a good way to test yourself is to try to explain it in your own words. it should take longer than 1h to go through a 1h video
  • if you like to read, "PLO from scratch" explains a lot of basic theory

over time you can play more and study less and after you have a decent sample you can start working with your data and look for leaks and what the best regs are doing at your stakes.

I don't think it matters that much what videos on this site you choose to watch first, they are all at least decent and you should be able to get something out of them all. (I like the Jnandez ones a lot tho)
