I think your line is very optimistic because obviously you dont the turn to get checked thru. Do you really expect the BTN to bet here very often? I think betting turn might be better...

As played i think it worked out very good for you. Dont expect BTN to have a very strong hand here. Any set would raise flop, also UTG is not going to be strong as well. So SQEEZE!

Thanks for replies guys, much appreciated. I am only 3k hands into PLO so very new to the game, at the time I was playing the hand I knew preflop was a standard 3B, but when there we're 3 fishes behind me I didn't see why I should 3B isolate a regular and potential push out fish with a hand that plays great for a multi-way pot in PLO.

I do agree that betting the turn myself is better, at the time I wasn't sure if I could really value bet my hand there. I see people checking down with 2pair a lot on 25 PLO zoom.

Conversor use is just the one from RIO.

Thanks again!

Can't lose money by flatting aces pre, but think about this:

If you have a 3-betting range at all here, this hand should be in it. By 3-betting you forfeit implied odds from pushing out potential callers (or even better, squeezers) that could have paid you off on your big flops. But you promote the unimproved value of the hand.

It's a trade-off, and the secret to playing not-too-great aces well is to balance these two considerations.

OOP and multiway, 3B less with mediocre aces and play more for implied odds. If there are squeeze-happy players behind you, ditto. But HU in position, unimproved aces will win lots of pots with or without showdown. So unless they are very bad and the blinds are very loose or 3-bet happy, you should feel the 3B muscle twitching.

You barely get 3bet vs non AA KKs.  isnt it easy to play vs a hand that is kinda faceup? I personally could 3bet a few more percentages but the zoom format makes people play only ocre hands which they do. Close to 0 ppl also steals at 25Zplo

Thanks again for chipping in on my thread! Nice post Zenfish, I definately felt the trade off in the situation, and sure every action has merits. Like I leaned more towards flatting because all players behind we're fish, but at the same time, if they like their hand they will cold call the 3bet anyways. So I think it is probably better to 3bet in this spot in the end, since my point of isolating the regular. The move might be an isolation move in a vacuum, but obviously if there are loose players behind who just cold call your 3bets, there isn't much real isolation going on there. So that works against the point of isolating a regular with fish behind, and it goes against the point of flatting to keep the fish in. Conclusion for me personally: 3bet for monnies and honeys!
