What are some good beginner videos for transitioning from NL to PLO?

Any recommendations? I'm completely new to plo, so i'd like to see a video that focuses on preflop, and simple flop play. I have an elite membership.

I do not have the Elite membership so i have been reading the PLO book by Jeff Hwang.
He has some good concepts and chapters with after the flop and preflop play, but also some very helpful calculations for outs in PLO. Could be a good book for you.
Here is a link if you wanna check it out.

Link doesn't work. Hwang's Big Play Strategy was written for full ring nutpeddling, but it as nice chapters about hand strength and drawing hands. His later books for 6max has a lot of nice basics, but on the other hand he has pure mathematical mistakes in them and sometimes he seems to play little too tight/nitty. Good reading, just don't take everything for granted.

Perhaps one of the best things ever written about 6max PLO is PLO From the Scratch, free ebook that is easy to find.

I would know a lot of good videos in Finnish, they just don't help you (I suppose). :(

They would help me :) Already got the link to Niska's videos, but always looking for more. Right now I'm trying to watch as much as I can from a coaching site as my subsciption is active but wouldn't mind to get some links if you have some recommendations.

Tom Coldwell's videos are good for a beginner or player that is transitioning, and they are essential. Even tho you have elite membership, you can have better use of it later, because rarely elite vids go through basic stuff.
Phil's videos are good for any level of player because his approach to subject covers all levels of understanding, so, ye, actually can use elite for those.

Jeff Hwang's first book was the first book that gave a systematic discussion of PLO starting hands. It also contains some useful advice about how to play full ring PLO. But for online 6-max games the book isn't very useful. His three-part "Advanced PLO" series doesn't have much relevance either.

If you are already know NL theory, try this one:
Mastering Pot-Limit Omaha: The Modern Aggressive Approach

I haven't read it, but it looks promising and I am curious. So you can read it and tell us what you think. :-)

Just watch a lot of videos and start out a bit tighter than the highstakes players if you play in games with less FE.

For anyone serious about transitioning to PLO there's also another alternative. I'm doing group coaching sessions that aim to guide players to a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of PLO. Great for new/small stakes players, but has also worked out well for mid/high stakes players who want to improve fundamentals.

Having watched all the videos and read all the books, what I do is guide players to available material when it exists, and add in the missing pieces when needed. There's good stuff out there, but a lot of it is also inefficient.

There's a small cost involved, but set up so that it's available to small stakes players who want to move up. PM me for more.
