I bet flop thinking I get called by worse often enough like (99-KK)
Turn bet because his range picks up some equity but I think im still ahead
River is probably one of worst runouts possible and I don't think he has enough worse hands to pay off a value bet or bluffs for me to x/call
what are your thoughts on this hand? since this flop is so dry I wonder if starting with check is better since we have the worst best hand if that makes sense lol I mean, of all the aces we can have this combo is one of the worst.

bet less on the flop. overall looks good. I expect villain's continuing range on the flop has a ton of 8x.
I'm pretty happy with this line, though I'd play it a little differently.
I like bet/folding bigger on the turn. As played, villain can be calling both flop and turn pretty light without making big mistakes, but a lot of their continues can be very high-equity by this point and we want to offer them a worse price than as-played, imo.
On the river, I like a blocker bet. As played, villain's river bet is super ambiguous and, while a check/fold is okay, it's a spot where villain can bluff you too easily for my tastes. Whether you check or bet, calling this river is usually going to be a mistake, but by betting (~1/3rd pot?) you might get a weak 8 to fold or get JJ-KK to call. And you also have a much less uneasy fold (than as-played) if villain raises.
