Two Hands $500PLO Live: Line Check
Typical 9-handed $1/$2/$5 PLO game - lots of multiway action.
Villain is deepest stack with about $2.5k. He is VERY aggressive in pots he is involved in and also has shown a tendency to splash around a little and make loose calls. Bet-sizing is either pot or check.
Only hand we've seen him play at showdown:
3-ways. BB leads PSB Jx 7s 6s, fold, then villain pots it IP.
BB calls.
Turn 2x check / snap check.
River 9s. BB leads for 1/4 PSB. Villain snap calls with JJxx.
Now to the hand I am in.
Eff Stacks $900. Straddle on for $10.
We complete in SB 9s8c6s6c. Flop is seen 8 ways. Relevant Villain is in HJ.
Flop (Pot $80): Jc Th 6d
Checks around
Turn: 7d
Checks to Villain who pots $80. We check-raise to $320. He calls.
River: 5x
We jam.
Do we like the turn x/r? Or is this a spot we should flat and let villain barrel off (as I said, he was very aggressive).
Hand 2
Villain is BB from first hand (who probed River). He's done this a bit when board texture changes on River (eg flush got there on turn, river paired and he would lead for smallish bet. Seen him end up with bluff here a few times). Villain has also been very 3-bet happy preflop.
Eff Stacks: $700
Folded around to Hero in CO. 3x JcTs8c8s
Villain (SB) 3Bets to $45.
Hero Calls.
Flop 7c 6s 5d
Villain Checks.
Hero bets $55
Villain calls quickly.
Turn: 8d
Villain Checks
We Check.
River (Pot $210ish): 8h
Villain Bets $130, we jam, villain folds
Thoughts on my line?
