Turn and river line?

BN: Silverrain: $200
SB: freust: $202.99
BB: Hero: $200
UTG: kareempirias: $434.30
HJ: rSMig: $393.06
CO: hihhuli: $51.30
Preflop ($3.00) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt J A 3 9
kareempirias folds, rSMig raises to $4.66, hihhuli folds, Silverrain folds, freust folds, Hero calls $2.66
Standard defend, given our suited ace and the pot odds, right?
Flop ($10.32) 2 4 5 (2 Players)
Hero checks, rSMig bets $7.40, Hero raises to $32.06, rSMig calls $24.66
Expect to be good almost always. Unless he has AA63 which we block, or KK63.
There a ton of bad turns for this hand, so I just decide to pot it, like I would with wraps, sets etc.
Turn ($74.44) 2 4 5 4 (2 Players)
Hero bets $40, rSMig calls $40
Bad card, but I don't see him having a boat here. If he had something like 4567 he would likely pot it on the the flop, as he would with most sets + straight draw, right?
River ($154.44) 2 4 5 4 7 (2 Players)
I think this is a mandatory check-decide. He has a ton of missed flush draws here, and there is no value in jamming.

Thoughts?

personally, i try to play defensively with these types of hands. its true that our hand is often best on the flop, but has no outs to improve. Very similar to flopped underboats, like 22 on KK2. Hand is very often best on flop, but when your raise gets called, you know they have a K but don't know which cards make their overfull and can often end up pot calling with 0 equity on turns.

by check calling flop and turn, you're less likely to get bluffed off on ugly runouts because your hand looks much more like some kind of draw whereas on blank runouts you have an easy bluff catch.

pre seems fine

i might lead flop

anyone like checking the turn? kinda looks like we're giving up and also pot controls.. but i guess it does give free cards to flush draw

riv is indeed a check decide.. prob folding to a ship

(i suck tho)
