ok, heres another one.

first, saska and theknower seemed to me like big fishes. i dont have much hands, but the played very weak so far.

that is the reason i call preflop. we are 250bb deep and i feel like im good enough to see a flop here. first mistake? or ok?

we flop trips and the preflop 3bettor pots. i dont think he ever has aces here, since he is not potting there with nutfull. so i call. saska calls too and here it gets difficult. afterwards i think the turn is an easy c/f, because i dont beat anything he calls there because i think he only has like A4 or AA here. but in that situation i decided to get it in on the turn.

i think turn is a fold here, but how do you play the rest of the hand?

thanks guys!

Fold pre imo.  This hand has no business being in a multiway 3-bet pot.  It's a 3-card hand with junky suits.

Then on the flop there's a pot sized bet into 3 players, you call, and then another player calls.  All kinds of alarm bells should be going off now, and I don't think you should be going broke on this board.  Even if you're just up against another 4, there's a decent chance that you're dominated or drawing dead already.  After this flop action I would be careful to put any more money in at all, even if I boated up on the turn.

Imo you should actually be folding your trips on the flop.  It's a tough fold to make, but if you're going to be in there with weak hands you need to be able to navigate the marginal spots.  That's why I'm suggesting to fold pre to stay out of trouble.  It's a bit unfortunate that you're showing the results here, but I would be saying the same thing anyway.

I think the call pre is fine and folding is fine too. I would fold more because you have to play oop than because of your hand. On the flop you can never fold because of the reasons you mentioned. Pastafiore shouldn't have aces nor a 4 with a bigger kicker after potting the flop. I guess if anyone else has aces they should be 4-betting pre most of the time.

On the turn I don't like betting out. I would be a little worried about Saska over calling though if he's a fish he might still be calling with any highish flush draw or any ace. Still I don't see any benefit of betting the turn and by checking I think you can make a better decision later on whether to commit the rest of your stack in.

FWIW, I've played with P. a fair bit and I would totally expect him to play AA or a bigger 4 exactly this way -- however silly that may seem.  Granted, I can easily see him play spades this way too, which may be equally silly.  Saska's overcall just screams aces though.

yeah ok. preflop fold had been the right play i see, but its very hard to fold the flop imo. the beoor there pots, so i think im always ahead of him there.

of course, after the flat of the third guy the hand must be over for me, but can i really just fold the flop in that spot?

thank you so far :)
