Tricky spot pre-flop with DS Kings PLO10 400bbs deep

CO: $11.66
BN: $17.37
SB: $40.13 (Hero)
BB: $10
UTG: $21.50
HJ: $37.63
Preflop ($0.15) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt 9 A K K
UTG folds, HJ raises to $0.35, CO raises to $1.20, BN calls $1.20

Hi :)

Info on Villains:

HJ 59/37 over 140 hands pretty fish and has run good to get a big stack

CO 51/19 over 360 hand  with 0.0 3 bets, bit fishy and plays fit or fold after the flop

BN 24/05 over 55 hands. Pretty tight and plays decent.

Found myself in this spot and I wasn't sure what to do, should I be 3 betting this hand this deep OOP?

Or is it just best to call with this hand, it flops pretty well and I guess my hand is quite disguised?

Any thoughts much appreciated!

Snow

This is surely a 4bet for value.  Your A blocker cuts Hij and CO's AA combos in half.  I think you can get away with calling a 5bet vs Hij with 2 suits, and obv just get it in pre vs CO or BTN.

My standard is to call. BUT I just ran the following sim in PPT which I THINK gives us the percentage of times we hit flops where we we have an easy decision

select count(boardInRange("K**,AA*,99*,dd*,cc*,QJT!xxx"))

from game="omahahi", deadcards="Ad,Kc,Kd,9c"

the result is 45.3%!

I am surprised by how high this number is ...... so if we pot to 4.80 and get two callers we are getting 33% pot odds on a 45% chance of flopping a K high flush or better, which actually seems pretty cool.

These are obviously only very initial thoughts .... HJ is deep and dumb as well, which is also nice reason to 3bet .....

I am going to carry on calling here until I have considered this a bit more. Calling here is obviously going to be profitable. Like you said, your hand flops well.

Thanks for running the sim :)  45 % is higher than expected, this hand does flop well aha!

I was just super worried about the what the CO is 3 betting with.

Just read overbet's post, sounds like 4betting is the way to go. 4betting clearly higher EV than calling? no problem that our hand does poorly aipf against AA?

This is a clear 4-bet for value (though the COs 3bet % would be helpful).

You have an absolute monster against anything but AA.  You're 99% likely to be ahead of the BTN, and you're likely doing well against the COs range.

The CO has a $10 stack, so if he does have AA, you can get it in with him and not be too hurt.  If he had around $30, you may want to consider calling (especially if you think he can 5bet some non AA hands, since you'd be 4bet-folding).

Pot it and get it in happily against anyone but the HJ.  If the HJ 5-bets after all this action, we are in an ugly spot.  He's the only one I worry about.  If he were a reg, I wouldn't worry because I'd just very comfortably fold to his 5-bet.  Since his stats are wild, you need to make a decision based on how crazy you think he gets.

I find that even the most wild players generally won't 5-bet non AA hands in his spot, so I'd probably be folding.  Still though, it's extremely unlikely he'll be the one raising if anyone does, and you're going to do really well in every other scenario.

I think 360 hands is enough to conclude that it's pretty likely he's not 3betting much.  I lean towards a call now, as this isn't a hand that minds multiway action either.
