Was planning on trapping flop because the BB has been stabbing at almost every pot when checked too. When the BTN shoves was unsure what to do. only in really bad shape against a set. Felt really weak to fold. What do you think?

I think I would call in SB and don't 3bet and check call flop.
As played, I would fold. There are a lot of KKxx and Kxxx hands in their range who could easily crush you. Or you have really good reads about that he raises light IP in 3bet pots. but even then it is not really clear against two people.
yea saw his hand the next day. ur read was spot on. he had KQ w/ Qhigh diamond draw. so he was freerolling me.
My intuition said that I would like to 3b this combo and flat the double suited good combo. But my solver solution is 3betting both... it is right on the cusp though, so probably doesn't change much either way.
I agree with wowsick's post-flop thinking. Very simply you are almost never in great shape and often in poor shape vs KK and KdXd hands. I would not think twice and fold.
gg wp, saved some money on the flop with the check.
i think that a bet and a call vs 1 and a fold vs 2 would give more EV, not sure tho.
