Transition from NLHE to PLO

Hey Guys,

I am a mid-stake HUSNG player who is trying to transition into PLO.  I have played a decent amount of PLO for the last 10-11 months as a sidekick to my usual HUSNG grinding, and lately I was wondering if PLO can be a more profitable grind for me.  However, I have little to no idea about what bb/100 would be attainable in PLO and whatnot, so I thought I'd ask here.  I know this might sound like a dumb question, but I just need a quick reality check, so if you could give me some advice I would greatly appreciate it! :)

A couple of things about myself and questions:

- My hourly in HUSNG is about $100/hr, so I was wondering what stakes of PLO I should be playing to make about the same amount of money.

- BR wise I can start off from $50 and $100 PLO comfortably, and $200 PLO would be a bit of shot taking for now.  I might be wrong here though, since I have been quite aggressive about my BRM as a HUSNG grinder.

- That said.. is 50-70 BI enough for grinding PLO 6max?  And what about HU?

- Would it be reasonable to shoot for 8-10bb/100 at $50 and $100 PLO 6max and HU?

For example, doing a quick math I figured I could make ~$50/hr at $100 PLO if I play about 500-700 hands an hour, which seems doable with 4-5 tabling Zoom.  I just have no idea how realistic of a goal this is though.

I'm guessing, most likely I won't be able to make the same $$ in PLO right away.  So I will still be playing lots of HUSNG's for the first couple months, but hopefully I can completely move on to PLO later on.. I guess I'm just a bit too tired of Hold'em right now. :(
