Tough River Decision 100PLO

Hey guys, so the villian in this hand is a nitty reg running about 15/11 at Zoom and I have never seen him 3bet. I don't have any reads on his postflop play so my assumptions are that he won't spazz and will probably play straightforward due to his stats. My standard here is to cbet; but I choose to check/call this flop as I don't mind giving up lead with this hand sometimes for balance vs regs and given how many turns we can continue on either by leading or check/calling or check/raising. Our hand also hates to get raised here. I also think check/raising is an option but I don't think it's better than check/calling.

When he bets, I think he stabs here with almost anything that has a piece when I check. The turn comes an interesting card, the Qc. I choose to lead with top2 and the gutter for a few reasons. One, I think it forces him to play more face-up because a reg, even a nitty one, would almost certainly raise the nuts here and only the nuts. So if he does raise, it's an easy fold. If he folds, we are happy to take down the pot. If he calls, we are likely ahead and are getting value/protecting against a range that is now capped while we can still have AKxx. When he does call, his range is pretty wide and probably includes lower straights, sets and a lot of combo draws that include clubs.

The river comes the Ad and it's definitely an annoying card even though we "improve". Now KQ, KJ, KT all make the nuts and given that we don't have a K it's more likely he has one. I think leading as a bluff is viable due to the fact that we can rep AKxx but the A sort of blocks his combos of turned nut flush draws so it's more likely he has Kxxx. So I chose to check/decide. Also of note, is that I would probably check the nut straight here as well vs this opponent but he doesn't know that. Pretty quickly he bets about about 2/3 pot. I don't think this sort of player at these stakes is going to turn a lower straight into a bluff/super thin vbet or turn a set into a bluff here; so if he is bluffing it's with hands like AcJc or bare KKxx with clubs. Some additional thoughts are that I block KQ and KT so he may have some less straights than otherwise, but villians at these stakes don't often bluff big pots. Is this a call given info? Or should I have just lead river?
