Totally lost!!!! What line should I take on the flop in 3bet pot?

BN: $36.45
SB: $42.97
BB: $120.39
UTG: $18.99
HJ: $134.80 (Hero)
CO: $61.48
Preflop ($0.75) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt T J J 9
UTG folds, Hero raises to $1.50, CO folds, BN raises to $4.31, SB folds, BB folds, Hero calls $2.81
Flop ($9.37) Q 7 6 (2 Players)
Hero checks, BN bets $9.37
Final Pot
BN wins $9.37 , BN wins $8.91
Villain is a 27/18/8.8 short stacker reg. No specific read on him.
I thought his range consists mostly AA, while I was playing.
I didn't know what to do on the flop, so just fold it. I considered calling the flop, but if I missed that I have to fold the turn. I thought it's kind of like burning money~ And I didn't even think about shoving the flop, I thought I was way behind. I was surprised that I had that much of equity in the pot.
What line is the most profitable to take?
But, after the session I review my session and I think his range had AA, AKQ4ds, Q7**,76**,T987 type hands.

Given your simulation, it looks like you may have just barely enough equity to go with it, or call and re-evaluate on turns. I'd be very curious to see a complete simulation of the breakdowns of outcomes on various turns, assuming he shoves all of them.

If we have 45% equity now, and the ability to make correct decisions on turns (let's just assume he has AA), we may be able to turn an okay profit.

+1

my std would be to call and get it in on turns that we still have decent equity, folding on an A, Q, 6, 7, and probably going with it on everything else, perhaps folding on low card that bring bd spades, and possibly donk shoving some turns where I think we have fold equity, eg a 5

If I called flop and pot ll be 28.11. Villain has 22.77 behind. So, If he shoved any turn and I need at least 32% to call.
If any K, 9, T and also ofcuz any 8, J came on the turn, we can call it off with at least 34%. But other than that, we have to fold everything else~ Im not sure this make sense or not? I tired my best.

we have two bdfs, so any flush that comes that doesn't pair board we can go with it also. think it should be a tad less than 32% we need OTT. combined with FE on certain turns if we just donk jam when we choose to go with it [perhaps chking when we turn a straight or set so he doesn't fold to us when we have those hands, and also to balance our chk folding range)

I see. This make much more sense now. I forgot about FE, we can bluff some turns too. Thanks a lot. It's hard to figure out all that in a game, I guess it takes practice.
