Curious on that one!
Villain is a reg, but very loose. 51/36 w/ 18% 3bet over 200 hands. BB is fishy.
1) Do you cbet flop? Since both have superwide ranges I am more inclined to cbet to make weak spades, str8 draws fold/ charge them and to get value from J*. If both were tighter I'd prolly check since they have way more KK,AA and hands nailing J99ss.
2) OTT I asked Pokerjuice. After villain x/c turn he has
- 9+ 28% of the time
- KK,AA 19% of the time
- (J+,QT:J+,QT:ss,T8:ss,KQT,KK,AA,Ass,Kss:(J,T8+,Q,T))!KK+ 54% of the time. I have 74% vs that range + FE. I might even make KK fold some of the time.
With those calculations, betting seems > checking, doesnt it? I charge his draws, maybe make him fold better, prevent myself from getting bluffed. Also he raises flop with 9,9J,JJ some of the time (especially since he is aggro), so his range is prolly weaker than PokerJuice says here.
Do you like the bet?
Thanks guys!
