I'm not sure I would barrel here as you get peeled again so much, but with a fold to turn that low I definitely wouldn't barrel. I just think you end up check folding too many rivers or getting to showdown versus 2 pairs and you can't bluff many rivers successfully at these stakes imo.

The line you took was fine if you thought of bet folding to any real aggression. This player is obv. a fish, but happened to have dangler that hit.

Despite his stats, villain actually didn't play his hand totally awful. He coulda (and I woulda) 3-bet pre, but postflop I am fine w/ villain's line. He can hardly raise flop or turn profitably and folding would be absurd. As for river, a value-bet would be kinda thin, especially with his image (for a less passive player, I'd like it 'cas you'll get heroed often 'cas hearts missed).

Against a 60/12 I'd just check/fold the turn. Yes, sometimes you'll let him draw for free at flush draws or w/e, but so often you just value-cut yourself here imo. Given he won't be bluffing very often w/ his stats, combined w/ the fact that he folds to flop c-bets a lot, you'll probably just put money in bad a lot of the time and still have no idea what to do on a ton of rivers. However, when you check, you get the same info about his hand (he'll bet the stuff that destroys you and check the rest) so you can often play the river pretty well. It's not as if the pot is huge or your hand strong, so check/folding is hardly gonna hurt, especially versus a passive, non-creative villain who won't be making life hard here.

Assuming he checks back, I'd lead non-heart A, K, Q, and J, and maybe the non-heart 6, 7, and Ts as well (depends on mood, but I often go for thin value and snap-fold to a raise obv).
