UTG opens for 5 x BB CO, who posted and surrendered calls, and I am on the button w/ $4. It is 50 cents to call. I call.

Vs a tight UTG opening range and a moderately loose caller I have a 10% disadvantage on the action going on equity. I do have the button and there is still another $3.50 to bet. It is also possible that the blinds might call or raise. In game I didn't really give too much consideration to the situation, but is it possible that folding is the superior play here? I have very little info / reads / stats on anyone. UTG is 20/17 over 30 hands and everyone else has a less than 5 hand sample. There is also 20 cents dead money in the pot. My share of that is 6 cents, which is roughly equivalent to our estimated disadvantage on the preflop action.
Heads up vs the tight range the situation would look even worse, although then there would be 30 cents dead money in the pot, which would again equal our perceived disadvantage on the preflop action.

After I call, SB three bets pot and UTG 4 bets. Poster folds. The situation now seems significantly more clear.

Now there is $2 dead money in the pot and I am almost break even in equity. I am only playing $4. And the three better could possibly fold.
I called all in.
