straight on paired in 3bet pot vs aggressive opponent
SB: $18.21
BB: $25 (Hero)
UTG: $18.65
HJ: $19.31
CO: $17.01
UTG folds, HJ folds, CO folds, BN raises to $0.85, SB folds, Hero raises to $2.65, BN calls $1.80
Villain is a reg. 26/15, stealing 50%, Ft3bet = 0%. He is very aggressive post (AFq F/T/R 67/70/33 - prolly too high due to 65 hand samplesize but him being aggro is def accurate) and seems easy to be induced by perceived weakness.
OTF I decided to check b/c it just feels like sound logic to check to a villain like this if you don't have to protect from many turncards. By betting we can set up turn or river all-ins vs worse straights which is why I would be vs average or less aggressive opponents but here I think the merit of letting him stab is higher. He might also bet straight draws that most people will check back. If he potted I would prolly have shoved b/c if he commits himself like that I think he won't have to many T's and everything else I have good to very good EQ against. Once he bets small I def don't like x/potting and I also dislike x/r more since we gii vs his Ts and make him fold bad straight draws etc.
OTT I checked again b/c my perceived range should be OP heavy. While QJ surely isn't the last hand I would x/c OTF I still think that betting the turn is a good play vs my perceived range.
I don't really know what to make of his betsize but I find it tough to give him credit for too many boats here. I block a 9 and I'm not sure if he would really only bet 40% pot OTF with a lone T.
With the FD out there I decided to x/shove but I don't really think the FD changes too much. I don't want to lose action from worse straights on 3flushrivers tho and sometimes he might go for some weird b/c with hands like J9 with diamonds or w/e.
Comments on both flop and turn would be greatly appreciated!

I cannot figure out what is the purpose of turn shove with staight on paired board? I would probably just cbet flop and fire another bet ott on hit. Folding to any raise ofc.
As played probably x-calling turn once again is the play. But i have no idea where it leads.
I agree that getting it in on the turn doesn't seem to do anything for you, your probably far behind his calling range.
Given his bet sizing otf (seems weak to me), I'd rather lead ott and get value otr on safe cards
On TT9r, I think betting a more polarized range and checking a lot of the middling stuff is going to be better. The more your hand needs protecting from villain's folding range the more you should be betting those hands. Additionally, you need to be aggressively protecting your checks with lots of calls and raises as a lot of his flop bluffs often have significant equity.
This hand seems to play better as a check/call as we don't want to bet and strengthen his flop calling range(which makes our hand less valuable when we improve to a straight. However when we check and keep his range wide, our straight is often strong enough to get 2 streets of value) and we have a hand that can often check/call two streets.
As played, the turn is a fairly clear check/call. I don't see any reason to raise as his weaker holdings have 20% or less equity vs our hand (so protection doesn't matter) and by raising he folds out worse value hands and gets it in with hands we're dead against. Additionally, it's a turn card he's likely barreling pretty often as it's pretty bad for the overpair portion of our range, so we're likely to gain at least a turn bet from his bluffs.
I would be tempted to check and call a river bet with this combo on most rivers.
