Embarrasingly basic question...is it a good idea to play small double-paired hands in early position (e.g. 7744ss)? I don't really see it working out too well, since even when you flop a set, it'll often be bottom set out of position and/or multi-way, which isn't a great spot. I suppose it gives you some board coverage and deception and lets you flop strong hands on boards your opponents won't think help you, but is it worth it? I've been folding these hands in early position, but in many videos it seems like the presenter values double-paired hands very highly in pretty much every context.
