This is a FI (dont wanna out him) that iv'e played tons of HU with. We have this kind of tighish gameflow when we play and some of the games iv'e been kind of donking away some big stacks to him by not folding to his 5b with my highcard hand AKQxss etc. We always play deep, 200bb+ but more than often a lot deeper. His 3b range is very well balanced but his 3b% oop is not that high, he tends to call pretty good aces/kings in the BB vs my 100% bu 2,4x raise. When he 3betts it seems to be a lot of rundowns and well connected hands and std good single suited aces and kings.
Since he knows i love to 4b a lot he does not hesitate to 5b me buuuut he does end up like folding to my 6b. When we play ringgames for ex and i have poss on him in the blindswar BB vs SB he do raise kind of tight in the SB and 4b folds kind of alot to my 5b's. I would say his a very modern plo player, and rly rly good to. But he do this semiweird things
I guess what first come to mind when I think about how i would exploit this is starting to 5b/6b him lighter but also how i can try to find spots were i know he might end up 4b/5b/6b folding and i can slowplay.
I finally found a spot that i liked with rly strong aces, where i fear he might end 5b fold to me. I prob would not feel that happy about slowplaying like AA38ss here but with this ultrapremium aces it feels like that spot iv'e been looking for. Not to mention the balance it gives for our 5b/6b calling range also.
I just wonder what other players think of my reasoning for this like explo deep play. Like it or not?
