Villain is playing 24/4/4 AF: 2.7
I'd appreciate thoughts on the flop play. Given that we're deep I'm concerned about being in terrible shape against KKxx but I also want to protect against his straight draws and get value from (a less likely) 77xx.
Given that more often than not we're slightly ahead/way behind, should we be folding this hand on the flop deep and OOP vs this villain?

I'm interested, in a situation like this, does the fact that he would have re-raised some/half KKxx hands preflop make the analysis complicated here? It's time I get odds oracle and play with it!!
Tough one! I wouldnt says that he will 3 bet a lot of KKxx type of hands if he plays 24/4/4. I def think that folding the flop is just too tight. The problem with this exact hand is that u have close to zero backdoors, if he has KKxx which crushes you.
Maybe just a call on the turn might be a good option and to revalute on the river. I dont think that a player like this will play his draws (JT9x kind of hands) in such an agressive way so no need to raise for protecion.
Im interested how others look at this spot, really not sure whats the best line here.
It's pretty gross spot, I would be more inclined to fold flop with middle set on a K94r than a KQ7r. There are a few 77 hands in his range, and more straight/wrap draws.
For me to fold this would need reads about how he plays his draws. He has so many strong draws in his range with such a narrow 3b range. He is probably going to have hands that he has not 3b that now wants to pile (AKJT, AQTJ, AJT, KQJT, AKQJ+bdfd,77).
If he has shown in the past that he will call in position with strong draws than I would consider a x/f but there are just so many hands in his range that I think I go for the same line. Change the board texture up I think you can make cases for folding middle set with no redraw (while it's exploitable you can get away with it at SSPLO)
