Is pre too loose?
What is our plan on the flop? I feel like I may be way too passive in spots like this. My thought process, if you can call it that, goes something like this: If I bet I might get raised, if i get raised I have to fold, i check.
thanks in advance.

I agree with checking flop, but for different reasoning. When you raise out of the sb, your range is very high card oriented so this is a flop you completely miss a high % of the time. I would start with a c/c on this flop and re-evaluate turn.
ok, that's interesting. so are we checking because 1) we expect to be bluffed on this board and 2) if villain does raise, even if we expect him to be bluffing a fair amount, we are in a tricky spot???
do we have a cbet range on this flop? would A high hearts be a cbet?
Zen made an excellent post in the "Am I stacking off too light in these spots thread" that covers this very well.
thanks plac, most helpful :)
Pre is definitely not too loose unless you are a super nit! Unopend limp from the button is just very fishy. With raising you will be able to play OOP against only one opponent most of the time and you will be able to build a bigger pot with a pretty good hand against a weak opponent.
I agree that you are too passive on the flop because you should either cbet or go for a c/r especially against BN. SB will very rarely have 36xx in this spot after calling the raise. Cbetting is also ok because i expect to get raised often here cuz the flop just didnt hit your raising range here so your hand is very well hidden. Turn can come lots of ugly cards so i would never intend to try to get it checked thru.
