Lead, if someone slowplayed a full OTT he will raise you regardless and weaker flushes might check river behind but are likley to pay you off.
You also can bet like 3,50 or so to induce some thin valueraises and some bluffraises potentially and ensure that they're never folding a flush no matter how small it is.
Ha, I posted bc many boat combos are unlikely to raise a lead but willing to call a x/r! Guess we just disagree about how to play many hands disharmonist ;)
EdgeKing, I considered a small bet but figured chances of getting raised were significantly lower than chances of being called.
This hand is mainly a Q of what the passive guy is checking turn with.
Why should full houses check behind turn?
I think this is a lead. By leading, we can get worse hands to call. Big hands will raise us.
By checking, we give our opponents easy showdown with flushes, low boats etc. They could of slow rolled as well because these two have fish stats. Fishes check too often and call light.
Against thinking players, we can check-raise go for a check-raise but when we raise, what worse is calling us? We won't be bluffing here a lot. 1010xx? Not too sure what else. I still think this is a lead.
Always make your villains curious of your play and always put pressure on them.
We definetely get more money in by betting (bet/3betting if someone has a boat) than checking.
If they have a flush they will not pay off a check/raise, so against those hands you get only 1 bet in anyways.
