Hi everyone, here's a hand i played recently.

the river comes Js and hero's decision is to bet that big around 16-17$ that villian woun't put the trigger on As blocker bluff at the same time we maximise our value as i dont expect any XsXs to fold here.

3b porobably questionable, any thought are highly welcome
OTF. I'd say standard bet. just not sure whether its reasonable to go this big.
OTT. my plan is to bet all the blank rivers decide (if to bet or not) on spades. b\folding OTT, obv
OTR. thoughts are above

any thoguhts?

Im don't think I would 3bet this pot due to the following - if villan flats we are left out of position in a bloated pot with a hand that isn't going to flop well against his range, also if he 4 bets we have to fold. I think flatting for pot control and re evaluating once the flop comes. Just to confirm I would not fold pre. (have you got any stats on the villan?)
On the flop think cbet is fine, whats your thoughts on his holding when he flats? Im thinking some kind KKxx hands although would he 4bet this pre maybe JJxx?
I think I check the turn again if he has JJ blockers to our straight we are relying on the flush draw only and think pot control at this stage would be good? In think I check the river also may get paid off by made straight but can see any worse flush draws calling? what flush do you put him on after he has raised called the 3b pre?
Sorry if none of that makes sense just trying work out what the villans range could be and how he has played the hand.
Cheers
Jason

my bad. completely forgot. rehish 160hands 26\17 wtsd 25

he flats?

pretty much AQ+,KK,A+gutter

what flush do you put him on after he has raised called the 3b pre?

here is a problem - he wount have (so far just intuitively, i'll try to calc later) many non Ahigh flushes. but there could be some 2pair\blockers call that we can make profic from.

Do you not think he is folding sets here on such a co-ordinated board and one that will hit our 3bet range really hard? so maybe he has draws to straights? I think he would reraise if he had a made straight here on the flop or turn?.

I think he bets are ok on the flop and turn because we can easily be representing a straight and on the turn and OTT if he reraises we should just fold. As Jimmy put we can barrel blanks and most likely spades as he has mostly draws when he calls the turn.

I think bet small on the river like half pot or maybe smaller?. Do you think he will call we worse flush draws or any straights on a flush board where you bet large into the river? Plus if he reraises here then do you think he has anything other than the A high flush?
