Range Construction: Live Limp/Raise
I'm curious to hear what types of hands you would populate in your preflop limp/rr range for live cash games?
I've been experimenting in my local $2/$5 PLO game where you can buy in for 20-40BBs. Like most cash games, there is minimal 3-betting, so I find it tough to play HU-favored hands like AAXXr or KKXXr in early position. I think these types of hands would be better served as limps with the intent of limp/rr over a anyone who raises pre from EP?
My question is, what other types of hands do you think would be good to use for balancing my limp/rr range from only containing AAXX and KKXX?
I was thinking something like low semi-connected double-suited hands (eg QT87ds, 8654ds) would be a great candidate but I would love to hear other thoughts or experiences.
