I've had two sessions with Alien Slayer so far and they have been very helpful to me.

In our first session we used Poker Juice to go over some hands and discussed some key points he spotted in my game.

In our second session we discussed a short stacking strategy since I plan on taking a shot my local casino's $5/10 game which is outside of my BR. We also discussed some more HH's and theory.

Overall he's been quite responsive to my questions throughout the week and I'm very much looking forward to the rest of my sessions with him.

I think this package is a great deal for anyone playing the aforementioned stakes if you know what you are looking for with respect to coaching.

Hi, I'm Dowgh-Santos (MTT grinder) and i'm in transition to PLO starting at PLO 100. I booked a package of 10 hours of classes, and we did 4 hours already.

We started by him teaching me how to create a HUD which I believe is one of the differentials of a good regular and he explain me how to use each statistically efficiently. We already reviewed almost 200 hands that I have separated to analyze, in every hand Alien explains several different scenarios. He teachs me how to use Poker Juice, the most complete program to study PLO. We made some analysis of DataBase, after a session I send him hands that I played on the sessions then he analyzes it, for those that are migrating of game this is really important because we made many mistakes at the beginning. He also speaks Spanish and Portuguese, and thats really nice for me because I speak Spanish better than English.

I'm very satisfied till now. I already knew Alien as a winner player, and I realize that he has a great way of teaching, making faster my process of transition.

I totally recommend his coaching.

alien slayer is one of the most technically sound guys I know in poker. Never heard of anyone be less than entirely satisfied with his coachings. For low-stakes guys who want to move up to the mid-stakes and see PLO as a long term thing, few things seem more valuable than someone who's had their nose to the grindstone the past several years and withstood the test of time. Highly recommend!

I picked up the 5 hour deal and have had 3 sessions with alien slayer by now and I have been very happy with the decision. Like dowg I used to be a MTT reg, been dabbling with PLO on and off over the years but last year started focusing more seriously on PLO with the goal of transitioning. However I've struggled quite a bit at low stakes, making slow progress but hovering just around break-even ev-adjusted while running massively under ev. The sessions with Alien Slayer have definitely accelerated the learning process and helped me put the pieces together.

We started with reviewing a session I recorded, and after that we've been going through trouble hands and areas of my choice. While my game and stats seemed somewhat solid at first, we found couple of common leak spots where I had a tendency to spew. On the other hand I have also gained confidence by reinforcing the things I was already doing well but was doubtful of because of run-bad.

I feel alien slayer has a very clear and logical way of explaining things and just listening to him go trough my hands has made me recognize where my thought process was lacking, for example not taking SPR into consideration enough, etc. Also he's been quite flexible and cool with scheduling of the sessions and answering messages.

I would be pretty surprised if this doesn't turn out to be a good investment. Will definitely consider booking additional sessions if I do manage to move up stakes.

I might be interested if you show your results per stake for 2016.

Hi to all the PLO grinders out there !

I decided to offer private coaching again. I took a break from grinding but this year I got back on the felt and did a lot of off the table work to improve my game. Since I always enjoyed teaching and helping others to become better PLO players I am thrilled to get back into working with students .

I am offering the following package :
7hours of private coaching and free skype consultations about hands or strategic advice for 1k € .
I will also record and send the student a video of each lesson to review afterwards .

My main game is 100bb 6max , but I have also experience playing short and deep stacked , playing HU and playing MTTs. I wouldn't call myself an expert in these fields, since I haven't put all my study efford into one of these areas specifically - but I have enough knowledge and good results to teach them as well to anyone interested to dive deeper or give a new game format a try.

after rather intense grinding the last couple of month I decided to offer private coaching again.

The rates will stay the same as last time: package of 7h for 1k€, 170€ / h

I also offer written/audio hand history reviews where the student sends in hands, I analyse them and send the audio file . This format is welcomed mainly by live players who can't do video session reviews or sweat sessions.

In addition I have quite a bit of 5c PLO experience myself and worked in the past with many players playing on indian sites and GGPoker skins to tailor the ideal strategies depending on the games they were playing in .

As you probably have seen in my recent videos I also work with Vision, so if desired by the student we can also incorporate Vision in the coaching sessions.

My goal is always to both help the student to improve their theoretical knowledge and to quickly improve his winrate by fixing leaks and recommending adjustments based on the playerpool the player is usually playing in.

Quick review for AlienSlayer's Coaching

Context: I signed up for a seven lesson package and I am five lessons through. I have been a semi-professional plo player for 7 years. All I knew at the before signing up for the coaching package was that AlienSlayer had been around for years years playing is some pretty tough games.

Review: So far it has been great. My win-rate since starting the coaching a has been the highest it has been in a long time and my level of confidence at the tables has improved. We have simply been doing video reviews in an informal manner, but this simple coaching technique has (I think) helped me spot and plug some leaks that I was unaware of. Furthermore, I believe hearing his take on the hundreds of spots that I have trouble with, given his extensive playing experience, has been very valuable as well.

He is easy going, flexible with scheduling, and honest about what he knows and doesn't. Very much worth the cost in my case.
