Preflop strategy in soft games with lots of limping
In very soft PLO games where there are often multiple limpers preflop (live games for example), I have some questions about what our preflop strat should look like. I imagine we should be over-limping with a lot of hands with nut potential and raising with premiums, but I don't feel like I have a good idea of where to draw the line. For example, UTG limps and we are in CO with KJT4 single suited, and most players at the table are very loose/passive, with stats like 80/0, 60/20, 68/10, etc. Should we overlimp here? What are some of the worst hands you would overlimp in that spot? Also, should we ever open-limp from EP/MP?
any PLO help would be greatly appreciated!

I play a lot in games like this. My overall strategy is limp non-great hands with nut potential (JJ-AA with bad side cards, nut suits, some 3-broadway hands), raise the best hands (QJT9ds, AATTss, etc.), otherwise fold. In the situation you mentioned, KJT4s with one limper, I think raising or limping are okay. I limp quite a bit in early position in this type of game.
Thanks for responding. I've been open limping a fair amount in these games with nut-potential hands which intuitively seems good to me but also makes me feel like a fish :)
You don't have to play "GTO" or beat Oddsen, you just have to beat your opponents :)
i play in games like this and have the same basic strategy as you
Against loose-passive opponents you print money by just playing for value. Don't bluff unless the spot is really good. Raise premium hands and call with the ones that can hit the nuts/strong but aren't premium.
