Defend or Fold (3b is pretty bad imo, right?)?
He is opening 26% as first in from mp. This is a 1/2 Zoom game. He is only playing 2 Zoom tables and a few mtt's (so he is not just clicking buttons). He is one of the more tricky/aggressive players in this game.
A little to disconnected for a defend? And is there a name for this type of hand (Maybe double suited double two gapper?)
Thanks

yer i probs wouldnt 3b it vs lex. defending i think is fine. he can go off on 1 quite often and as long as your comfortable playing oop vs his post flop with these type hands its fine.

Lean towards 3betting this combo pre, and flatting the KhTd9d6s type combos.

Your 47% vs a 26% opening range, but once you take into consideration initiative and FE, your going to realize >100% of your equity. Because of that, coupled with the fact that it's good for your 3b range to have some hands like this, I'm OK 3betting a hand that's a slight dog equity wise because it makes up for that in it's post flop playability and the overall effect is has on our 3bet range.

Also want to add that this hand plays well in all SPR scenario's because of how great it distributes it's equity.

I think both this hand and KhTd9d6s should be a flat. We are a dog vs his opening range, villain is a playing well and we are out of position. In position would make a 3bet more attractive if you for like to get the pot HU or get the blinds to fold but I still think a flat is the best play in position too.

Wow, it's funny how much my game changes in a 2 week span.  Flatting >>>3betting vs a Hij open and I don't think it's very close.

I think calling here is fine, but I wouldn't really 3-bet this hand here.  You can fold here if you're uncomfortable playing oop, but I wouldn't really fold this against anyone.
