Postflop bet size in low stakes

Hi everyone! At first, sorry if there is a post with this doubt, but my English is not very good and is difficult for me search in the forum this treats.

I'm starting to play PLO and I'm playing PLO10. I played NLH and a standard cbet was 2/3 pot (1/2 or 3/4 in different cases). I'm playing without a solid base in PLO. I'm reading "Pot-limit Omaha Poker. The Big play Strategy" and "Advanced Pot Limit Omaha I" by Jeff Hwang and he bets a pot bet, saying that a cbet lower than a pot bet is sign of weakness. However, he plays live and 9 players tables, and I play online 6max tables, and I supose that this is a very important difference . So I wonder how many bet in dry boards, draw boards...

Thanks in advance!

I think it all depends on stacks and pot size. Generally speaking in either 6 max or HU pots with only one raise preflop the pot will be small in comparison to stacks. In this case a pot size bet is my go to bet. I don't like to bet any other size as I don't want to give anything away and the bet size I usually reasonable anyways. This changes a lot in 3 or 4 bet pots where I think you need to balance your range. In these type of spots I usually like a 1/2 pot bet with a large % of my range.

I play PLO10 and have also read the Hwang books. I used to be pot in pretty all situations - but having seen some of Sam's vids am starting to change that a little.
As Adjacent said - stack size does play a part as well..

I think you need to adjust your cbet sizes to what the flop brings and your opponent tendencies. Lets say you open on the button and SB, who is a loose/passive player, calls you and BB folds.

If the flop is heavy/dry (K92r), you should cbet very often and with a smaller amount. Reason is that its hard for him to have anything to continue with as this flops is more likely to hit your range as how preflop played out.

In contrast, if the flop is low/wet (874ss) and he got low fold to cbet%, you should consider checking back with weak draws and overpairs. This flop is much more likely to hit him because hes playing loose preflop. However, I would cbet big (85-95% pot) if I hit this flop hard. Just for the reason being that he calls you alot with any part of the flop and you could dominate his drawing/made hands.

All in all, its hard to tell you "always best 50% pot" or whatever because its dependt on so many factors. Opponents tendecies, how the board looks like, history with villain, table dynamic, stack sizes and so on. You should try getting a solid thinking process of how to approach this area and Im sure you figure it out.
