PLO5k Shot - Help on all streets appreciated

Tend to lurk these forums so wanted to post a hand for some feedback/advice.

Villain is a capable fish reg, this is early in the match and I have few reads other than he hasn't 3bet much thus far.

Could argue different lines on every street, thoughts please!

BB: $5,174.50 (103.5 bb)
Hero (SB): $7,761.12 (155.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Qs Qh 9s Ks
Hero raises to $150, BB raises to $450, Hero calls $300

Flop: ($900) Js Td Kd (2 players)
BB bets $450, Hero calls $450

Turn: ($1,800) Ah (2 players)
BB bets $1,250, Hero calls $1,250

River: ($4,300) Tc (2 players)
BB bets $3,024.50 and is all-in, Hero ?

Jam the turn.

I don't understand why we are not raising the turn if he has $3k left, in a spot where we are pretty sure he is calling with AA, KK, etc.

I dont rly like to shipp the turn.Can u guys explain to me why jam is better then calldown?fine as played, easy fold on the river.

protection from all the hands he's barreling turn without the straight is why we ship the turn.
