(PLO5)Floped 2pair on 2 tone midling flop iP vs loose passive @~150bbs deep (only better 2pair redraw) line check

Blinds: $0.02/$0.05 (6 Players) BN: $7.84 (Hero)
SB: $5.46
BB: $7.60
UTG: $8.57
MP: $5.74
CO: $4.14
Preflop ($0.07) Hero is BN with 5 A 8 T
UTG raises to $0.17, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.17, 2 folds
Flop ($0.41) 8 2 T
UTG bets $0.39, Hero calls $0.39
In this flop I decided ony to call even with (what i assume) a range vs range advantage and with top 2 pair. My reasoning for this is that we are considerably deep, and there are a lot of turns that hurt my actual hand (althought they improve my range). I'd like to know if my reasoning is flawed in some way, and if raising is the best play. If so why?
Turn ($1.19) 8 2 T A
UTG bets $0.80, Hero raises to $3.54, UTG calls $2.74
As played, I'm really confused if my raise OTT (and the sizing) were the best play. Sure I have improved my 2pair, and will be called by draws. But i'll be playing a guessing game OTR. One thing that favor this raise is that villains is passive and will be easier to me to fold in a lot of bad rivers vs leads

First of all pre-flop call is pretty marginal. When called I would definitely raise it on the flop, our hand is very vulnerable and needs lot of protection against lot of hands. There are just handful of cards we would really like to see on the turn, even A looks pretty nice but there is a possibility that our opponent has top set now. Only hands that really crush our hand are sets and big wraps (possibly with flush draw) but there shouldn`t be too many sets in his UTG range.
Of course you can always play this hand slow and just call him down but I prefer raising on the flop and take it down right there.

Fold pre. Even calling double suited here is marginal. If there are multiple callers, fine, we're in position, but all our pair outs are dominated by UTG's range and our connectedness is poor. We shouldn't expect to get paid off on a flush either, so the implied odds are just too low.

As played call flop is good. If we raise and get raised we're certainly not happy about it. UTG can have some sets/wraps+FD that have us crushed or hands like AA+NFD which we are flipping with.

On the turn, I think calling again is the best play. Villain is never bet/folding this turn so protection is irrelevant and we're just bloating the pot without a huge equity advantage. Further more if he jams we face the same problem as on the flop. The Ad is better for his range than ours. I prefer to play a small pot and wait for the river to decide the best action.
