BB: 20.55
HJ: 60.13
CO: 53.56
BN: 50 (Hero)
SB: 69.13
CO: 65/2/1,1 6,4k hands Calling station (big loser)
BB: 38/21/7,4 56 hands Unknown finnish player, probably competent
Preflop (0.75) (5 Players)
Hero was dealt 6 8 Q 9
HJ folds, CO calls 0.50, Hero calls 0.50, SB folds, BB checks
I want to play a pot in position with the losing player. I choose not to raise because the aggro finnish player in BB could decide to reraise me and then I would have to fold (SPR too low with my marginal hand).
Flop (1.75) 4 5 J (3 Players)
BB checks, CO checks, Hero checks
Draw heavy board. I don't think I can force them out by betting here so I check behind.
Turn (1.75) 4 5 J 7 (3 Players)
BB bets 1.64, CO calls 1.64
I turn the nuts. BB bets big and CO calls. I can call and wait for a safe river or raise to charge the draws. There are so many bad cards on the river; spades, clubs or board pairing. If I raise I'm afraid BB is freerolling me with a straight + flushdraw and CO is certainly calling if he has a flush draw. Any recommendations???
