PLO50: Defending BB with straight draw, line check.

Blinds: $0.25/$0.50 (5 Players) CO: $61.56
BN: $51.29
SB: $52.87
BB: $213.57 (Hero)
UTG: $44.68
Button seems TAGgish: 27/14 with 29% agg over 82 hands. 44% cbet so far.
Preflop ($0.75) Hero is BB with K J T 9
2 folds, BN raises to $1.75, SB calls $1.50, Hero calls $1.25
Reasonable defense, I think. Three diamonds and a gap at the top isn't great, but I think we're well within playable territory. Button is tight enough that I don't really want to 3bet, so I think it's a call.
Flop ($5.25) 3 J 8
SB checks, Hero checks, BN bets $3.62, SB folds, Hero calls $3.62
It's been a decent while since I played this hand, but I can only assume that I didn't check/raise because I really didn't want to GII vs a draw that could have me dominated with hh.
Turn ($12.49) 3 J 8 5
Hero checks, BN bets $9.24, Hero calls $9.24
Basically a blank. I wonder if this would have been a good spot for a check/raise, though both here and on the flop I feel like we're too often folding out worse and only getting action from better.
River ($30.97) 3 J 8 5 9
Hero
What's the plan? Button easily could have been semibluffing hearts, and straights (however blocked by our hand) also come in.

Feedback on every street is quite welcome. I'm particularly unsure about my passivity on the flop and turn.
