I think cbet size is fine since the board is so dry. What do you think is the best turn play here? This nine fits some of his rundown hands and now he might have some 2 pairs or monster draw with a pair. So probably checking back is not a disaster?
Otr i decided to bet big as he is paying off most of his 2 pair hands and T87x-type hands. Other weak stuff folds anyway.

I like your line all the way, turn check is nice, can check call, your hand is too good to fold yet cant stand XR, like river sizing too, 2 pairs low str8 will pay, all else will fold out anyway
not sure about turn check, but probably would do same..
river, i would go for 12-13 - for me its more likely for him to call random bottom2 or so vs smaller bet, imo
I think you played the hand fine
Bet turn imo.
We are in bad shape vs Q9 and some slow played sets/2P. We have 60%+ equity vs QJTx,QT8x that we fear can c/raise us of our better hand. And if SB is opening tight (UTG range) he will have lots of JT combos in his flop calling range. But most of them do not have spades and just ch/call and villain also might not c/r every spades monster draw. Because villain has Q9 <30% of the time and it is likely to only get raised by much better hands than ours I would bet/fold OTT. Also avoids the guessing situation when you check behind and villain bets on a flush or straight into your rivered 2P.
If the turn was a rainbow 9 I would be more inclined to check behind because villain could raise all his good draws and we had to fold the best hand more frequently. There are less ugly cards for us OTR, too. If villain opens (or raise/calls) wide from SB I would probably bet OTT, because the frequency of him having hit JT,T8 drops significantly.
I like turn check because you can't call any check raises I'd probably bet 10-11 to get him to pay off thin with 2 pair and allows him to spew and value own himself with worse straight
It probably depends a lot on his aggression. Against some I think c/back is good as you can't call a c/raise. As a default play I'd probably bet the turn as well, around 13.50$...
Your river size looks very strong to me, so that I could fold 2pair to you whereas I'd probably call more often if a little less ;)
-do you also bluff this big to make it polarized here?
