Here is a spot where I was always calling, not even considering other options, however recently I started having some doubts about it.
CO is reg 25/15 3bet: 6%
SB is agro short: 23/20 sqz: 13%
CO is tight player and doesnt 3bet that much. Therefore he might be having quite a lot of strong hands in his calling range. Usually it was no-brainer call for me because I have unpaired and well connected rundown with gap at the bottom, but I see 2 disadvantages of calling:
1) CO might 4bet with stroner parts of his range like KK, AAr, some high cards hands that he didnt 3bet. He also might have slowplayed some hands because of agro squeezer on the SB
2) After calling I will have difficult decisions postflop. Shortstack will have just 107$ left into 184$ pot so he will shove most of the time and I will have the worst relative position, having full stack behind me. I think I might have very difficult decisions on boards like KT6ss, QT6ss, JT5r, Q86ss, A96r etc. Basically my hands doesnt have so much nut potential and on many boards I will be making marginal decisions on the flop.
Because of that does anybody of you is folding this preflop? What's your thoughts?
