With top set, we should be looking to manipulate stacks to allow us, if the board runs out nicely, to put the money in. We also should be tailoring our c-bet sizing to the texture of the flops. Both of these considerations make me wanna start out by saying you should have c-bet larger - I would go for around $2.

On the turn, I generally don't like check/raising because it's pretty horrible for this to get checked back. If I knew he'd bet like all the time, I guess it's ok, but I'm not a fan. I'd prefer to just follow up my flop bet with another sizeable one (if you'd bet the flop for $2, something around $6 now would work as it'd set up a nice river shove).

The river is about as awful as it gets (maybe 9d is worse) so I would check/fold and move on. Even with villain capable of turning diamonds or a flopped made hand like two pair (hard to have when we have KK) into a bluff, I still think this is a fold because SO MUCH just got there. Sucks, but w/e, calling and giving away more money sucks a lot worse!

My standard is to definitely bet a big bigger on the flop and to lead the turn ... going for the CR on the turn eliminates too many of the dream scenarios where villain raises it up on the turn (obv most ideal spot for us). Bet Bet and hope we get raised will be most profitable overall

Agreed with everything above, you want to bet as much as possible, even on the flop because it is so draw heavy, we want to deny our opponent the correct calling odds and hopefully, if the board runs out safely, we could possibly get our stack in, if our opponent decides to put their hand in on a bluff. I dont like a check-raise as it is likely our opponent could check back for a free card, As it turned out, pretty much everything in his range got there on the river. There is literally nothing you could do in this hand on the river but c/f. Anything else would be burning money.
