plo25 zoom questionable flop and turn play
SB: $29.49 (Hero)
BB: $29.81
UTG: $25.00
MP: $44.73
CO: $57.98
UTG lost and shows a straight, Five to Nine.
SB wins $58.84
Rake is $2.00
UTG is a fish, BB is a Reg.
preflop is standard i guess (but we can have a discussion about 3betting ranges in SB vs UTG opening Range)
tricky situation on the flop: i`m not sure if we have enough equity with top2 and BD NFD with SPR 3.3 to just pot it vs 2, especially with the Reg coldcalling in BB. His range should profit the most on this board.
i guess checking with the intention to check fold vs action from 2 players is the right play? if BB checks as well and UTG pots it, i think i would go broke?! still difficult.
OTT, i thought in hindsight that a push from me would maybe look weaker than a check/call. i dont give them straights vs my potbet OTF, that leaves a lot of draws in their ranges which could fold to a push from me (which is presumably AA** with NFD or good sight cards on this board).
So i choose the "safer" route and checked.
would love to hear your thoughts!!
