Hehe sure looks like a vbet w 98xx. I would need further reads to make a good decision...theoretically you should call but if ur gut feeling says fold then at these stakes u can go ahead and fold unless he has super aggro post flop stats.

I would think if villan had made the unlikely QJ straight, they would have bet much larger on river to extract from what you have rep'd the 98. Therefore I would discount QJ and (89 i think is possible but unlikely). Call. I would expect villan to show busted fdraw/gutters and maybe turned two pair into a bluff or even a set?

A Weak LAG 43/19, so i dont give him credit to think, i fold this Set, sit down in a Shower and start whining...

I believe he has a lot Wraps in his Range which crushed the Board or hit the Flop and improve at Turn, without postflop stats it is difficult, but i think its a close fold!

His range is way too wide to fold here I feel. He should have all sorts of random shit that tight ranges dont have like Ak45:xxyz and can be value betting/blocking worse like 66,77, AK. Also you're getting >3-1 with that sizing so you have to be "right" <25% of the time. Also the flush draw missed and one would expect even a loose-weak player to raise the flop with 89 most of the time with the flush draw out there.

I do love paying people off though so I'm interested in alternative perspectives.

Also I agree that it's a weird/bad spot for him to bluff also given the flush draw missing and it being sort of hard for him to rep the nuts and therefore a decent spot to lead value I guess but he doesn't seem to be the type to be on that level.

When the K hits the turn, this should be a perfect spot for him to check raise with 89. Given his calls and then weak bet on the river, I call. Seems like he could have made two pair with an Ace, or just be trying to make a weak stab at the pot since you "missed" your flush draw. Great spot to call down and get some notes on how he plays draws, flopped straights with redraws out, etc.

Loooks like i misread the action once again. I thought he 3barreled.

I mean without a read, im not folding but its still super close since its such a bad/weird bluff.

But just in case he had big 2p i wont fold. If he shows me a str8 then ill credit this next time.
