PLO20 6m AA facing flop check raise on dry flop
Quite an interesting hand I thought in that it raises a lot of questions
about the value of AA on these flops facing a check raise vs an
aggressive opponent.
Also raises questions about how we construct our range and what it might look like on the turn
V is solid thinking reg and active 2+2er, raise cb 23%, not sure V knows
that I am capable of 3b air and monsters in this spot. I will also 3b
Qx. (However thinking about this there is probably way more air than QQ
and if I want to be close to balanced AA, KK and Qx should all be in my value range rather than turning them into a bluff). The fact that
there appears to be more air in this spot also means that he likely
flats QQ and checked back turn hoping to extract value on the river.
River I almost want to call because of the price. V indicated that it
was a bluff in game but I can't be sure unless he was flatting and
hoping to shove turn. I kind of think though that if V thinks I am full
of it he likely sticks his air in on the flop as I can't possibly call.
It's caused me to think a lot about the hand anyway and I would appreciate others thoughts
