Plo100: 4b Pot: Mono Flop Question

BN: $212.54
SB: $229.48
BB: $106.25
UTG: $124.37
HJ: $70.03
CO: $172.82 (Hero)
Preflop ($1.50) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt J K K A
UTG folds, HJ folds, Hero raises to $2.70, BN folds, SB calls $2.20, BB raises to $10.80, Hero raises to $35.10, SB folds, BB calls $24.30
Flop ($76.60) J 7 2 (2 Players)
BB checks
Villain is a wide 3bettor. Question about the flop. My standard has been to pot, since we only have psb left. However, when I do that I feel like I get people calling of stuff like T875 which has about 48% equity iirc. Is it better to bet a different size in hope that they put us on a flush more often and incorrectly fold their equity? If so what size do you think achieves this?

1 pair hands don't usually fold here for any amount in a 4b bot pre with just about 1 PSB left in my experience . The rationale being obviously that you're put on AA, it's hard to flop a flush, and they have enough equity to continue against your perceived range. I don't think the questions to be asking are "how do I stop them from calling with 1 pair" or "how do I make them more afraid that I have a flush so they'll fold", but rather approach it from the perspective of "what's the best play against this particular opponent on this board?". If he's a wide 3 bettor, then he's likely generally aggressive. For the sake of argument if he was IP, he'd then be more likely to bet more hands than call with than if you just open shoved any flop. In this circumstance, you might actually catch him betting some hands you have crushed like KKxx or the naked NFD blocker + a gutshot. A passive player's more likely to check behind. I understand that's not the case here as we're in position but wanted to use the above as an example of what such a thought process might include.

It's hard to say what to do without reads and history on the above player. If he's aggressive and also thinks you're aggressive and you will bet all AAxx unimproved, he might be check-shoving with all of his range that hits this board (any flush, any pair, etc.) If he perceives you as passive/scared on these boards, he's more likely to just lead out. There's a lot of variables that will impact his decision and you need to try to be as aware of all of them as you can reasonably be.

In a read free vacuum, I err on the side of simply betting my standard amount that I use for monotone/paired flops. If your standard is pot, then so be it.
