Villain is a somewhat bad, but aggro reg with a wide btn 3bet. Should I be folding this hand oop versus that type of player. I felt I was ahead of his range a bunch.

Flop std c/c imo. Turn I could be convinced is a fold. River felt difficult since I have blockers to alot of boats and he probably shouldn't be vbetting KJ. Thoughts?

Very interesting hand.

Preflop is tough. I would fold against a good player, even if his range is wide. Since you said this guy is somewhat bad, we can probably call.

What kind of bad is he? I think that calling flop is standard, and calling turn is probably best, but it's tough to be sure about the turn or the river without knowing a little bit more about our opponent.

I think that if his range is very wide (including lots of double suited trash), we have to call this river. We block the A and Q (meaning fewer combos of AA, AT, QQ, QT), so there are fewer hands he can VB.

The reason I like to call is that the board ran out in such a way that I think he may be 3barreling with near 100% of his air. So with even total air like J765sshh, he's going to bet flop, very possibly bet the board pairing turn, and almost always bet the Ace river (since he 3bet pre).

If he checks turn with total air, he's still going to bet with J9xx and with weak clubs, so his bluffing range has to be more than wide enough to make this call.*

*Assuming he's 3betting very wide... if not, this all goes out the window.
