PLO Study Group for Low Stakes

Hey guys,

I've seen a few posts like this before but most of them seem to fizzle out. I've recently started taking PLO seriously as I eventually want to pursue a career as a player/coach, I'm absolutely miles off of course, under no illusions that it'll take years of hard work and commitment. Recently I've added a lot more studying to my poker schedule in an attempt to push my game further and hopefully avoid plateauing, finding leaks etc, the standard stuff. I have a few problems with this. I'm someone who works/learns much better in discussions and bouncing ideas off eachother than just sitting down on my own going through hands. My attention doesn't hold very well doing this for prolonged periods and I don't know if I'm just reinforcing my leaks into my own game. I had a coaching session and while it was really helpful its a bit out of my roll atm to do consistently.

So, basically what I'm looking for is a couple of fellow PLO lovers playing micro/low stakes who are willing to semi-regularly skype/teamviewer, sweat eachother, go through hands together, just generally discuss the game, whatever helps. I'd love to do this with any skill level (I imagine the majority of players here are much better than I am, still fairly new to PLO). I'm currently grinding micros still myself practicing/building a roll, beating PLO5 over a smallish sample but feel confident with my game there. Not quite rolled for PLO10, grinding it up, looking forward to that. If there's anyone in a similar boat to me, get in touch here or tweet me @seacombePLO :)

Cheers guys

Hey I'm in the same situation. Been a NLHE player for years and have been studying and playing PLO for the last 4 months because frankly I find PLO way more enjoyable and subscribed to this site to specifically try to meet some PLO friends to learn with. Shoot me a message

@seacombePLO, There is a program called discord. I think this would be alot better for a studygroup. https://discordapp.com/ would prefer to use this have no problem installing skype. But discord is just 100% better.

Made a discord group, I agree it'd be a lot better. Hadn't heard of it before this, looks really good
