PLO 25 preflop isolation & cbet(?)

BN: $25 (Hero)
SB: $26.37
BB: $29.03
UTG: $10.90
HJ: $24.58
CO: $76.20
Preflop ($0.35) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt Q 3 J 8
UTG calls $0.25, HJ folds, CO folds, Hero raises to $1, SB folds, BB calls $0.75, UTG folds
Worth an isolation on the button vs. a seemingly recreational player limp I'd say (opinion?)
Flop ($2.35) 3 Q T (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero checks
Looking at my equity vs. 2.5%-30% range (top 30% minus AA) here I have 59.5% equity on the flop.

I was a little worried about getting x/r off my hand when I decided to make the hesitant xb (check back)

The consequence of my xb is that if my unknown opponent happens to be a player that doesn't x/r his OESD/Wrap + FD or B2P + FD, I let him draw for free. In addition I let his Q pair & overs + GS type hands / naked flush draws type hands draw for free (which I believe almost any player wouldn't x/r with)

However, is his range so wide here that a protection / value bet is necessary? I'm suspecting this might be the case even if he is x/r'ing his OESD/Wrap + FD or B2P + FD. I think there may be too many Q pair + KJ or AJ or J9 or J8 gut shots / flush draws that I can afford to x this back & the best play is to just bet/fold. Bet 80% & fold?

Opinion?
Turn ($2.35) 3 Q T K (2 Players)
BB bets $1, Hero calls $1
River ($4.35) 3 Q T K J (2 Players)
BB bets $4.17, Hero folds
Final Pot
BB wins $4.17

Hi in my opinion you need to Cbet 100% time vs player you wrote about. This is plo25 people play this stakes very passive. You need to bet this for protection and for value. You have very simple game vs this opponent. He will never ch/r you with hand worse than yours so if he ch/r you you have really easy decision-fold :) About pre flop iso here is close but ok if players on the blinds were passive and i suppose they were. Peace

Super clear c-bet here against the BB.

As for the isolation, I'm completely fine with it OTB against some random 25PLO fish (I make the same assumption you did versus anyone who limps UTG and I know nothing about).

One way to judge these bet-or-check-back-and-play-turns situations is to ask your self this question:

How often will I spike a turn card where I'm happpy to call, raise for value, or raise as a semibluff?

If you have a so-so hand where almost any turn piles up more so-so-ness, it probably makes most sense to think of your hand as "PLO air" on the flop and bet-fold it for protection and a little bit of value. Check out Phil's "Raising Turns" vids for flop --> turn concepts:
