PLO 100 - TP and combo draw on paired board

CO: $125.12
BN: $100
SB: $387.07
BB: $163.91
UTG: $85
HJ: $115.87 (Hero)
I haven't played much with him. That said his stats were 25/16 5% 3bet over 150 hands. He had raised flop 40% but sample size was 5 hands.
Preflop ($1.50) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt 7 K 5 8
UTG folds, Hero raises to $3, CO folds, BN calls $3, SB folds, BB folds
Flop ($7.50) 4 4 3 (2 Players)
Hero bets $5, BN raises to $16.87, Hero calls $11.87
Turn ($41.24) K (2 Players)
Hero checks, BN bets $30.93
Any comments appreciated.

Personally, until I've seen someone mess around on boards like these, I wouldn't continue past the turn (perhaps not even the flop). Generally I don't like drawing in spots where I could credibly be dead, especially in small pots where villain has less incentive to be getting out of line. I know he's a 25/16 so shouldn't have THAT many 4s in his range, but he's OTB so it's not that tough and he certainly hits that board harder than you do. Therefore, I'm wondering whether a c/c line on the flop might be worth considering to avoid spots like this? It's not as if the board getting checked through sucks and it means we can keep the pot nice and small/avoid letting villain just stab and win every time we check here (obviously we'd also have to be willing to check some made hands to balance, but this hand could certainly be a check).

Yeah, +1. I'd have to know this guy always raises paired flops to go past the flop raise. Ask yourself this: if a non-heart 6 or the Ah comes on the turn, are you still excited about getting it in? Because calling the flop makes the SPR 2 on the turn, and that's the decision you're going to have to make. No reason not to cbet this flop, but I think folding to a raise is fine.
