PLO 100 HU vs agro maniac

SB: $106.55 (Hero)
BB: $116
Preflop ($1.50) (2 Players)
Hero was dealt 9 7 J A
Hero raises to $2, BB raises to $6, Hero calls $4
Flop ($13.50) 7 2 4 (2 Players)
BB bets $12, Hero calls $12
Turn ($37.50) 7 2 4 T (2 Players)
BB bets $36, Hero calls $36
River ($109.50) 7 2 4 T 9 (2 Players)
BB bets $62, and is all in
Opponent is very weak agrocalling station, who bluff alot. He 3Bet 22%, cbet in 3B pot 88%, turn cbet 60%. Pot is standart bet size for him. He can bet pot/fold pair board in 3B pot. I think flop is standart, bocuse he dont fold any overpair. Looks like turn call better than show, but maybe im wrong. And river is hard for me, he looks like he can 3 barel bluff here, but i dont know exactly. And he should not bet AA here, there is no value, so it must be bluff or straight. Hard imagine that some one value bet T9 here, but who knows, maybe he can.

call river can have a lot of busted draws, and given we have a j takes out some j8 comboes. our range is super weak in this spot, we rarely have j8 given flop/turn, one of best hands we can have is 68, so I think given we're close to the top of our range and villain can put us on missed 56+hearts or smt I would call river. we have v good odds also

Agreed with Sam. If he's as aggro/crazy as you say, I think you have to call down here.

I think he'd value bet better two pair, given he doesn't have a better option. Still though, a 22% 3bet range is not so tight that you have to worry he has no air, but not so loose that he should have a lot of 86, 77, 22, T2 type hands that beat you.

Recently against guys like this I've started raising/getting it in OTF in similar spots. You have three overcards TPTK, and a BD flush draw, so you are never far behind unless he has a set. This is the kind of board I'd like to fight for as a defender vs a 3bet. When they cbet so big I am pretty happy to just pull down the pot OTF when they fold. Interested in hearing opinions on raising OTF vs calling.

I think its ok to raise here in a vacuum given that against a 22% 3bet range our hand will do ok on this flop; however, this is a flop that we shouldn't really have much of a raising range. If we continuously raise here it will make our flatting range incredibly weak thus allowing him to easily barrel us off hands.

The equity in your hand is highly visible so I think placing this hand in the calling range is probably the best option by quite a bit.

pacmang Why shouldn't we have a raising range on this flop? 100% range is ahead of 22% range on this board. Only 3% of the time will he have 2-pair or better. He'll have no pair ~32% of the time, and an overpair ~45% of the time. We will have 2-pair or better 16% of the time. You could argue that this hand shouldn't in our raising range, but we def want to have a raising range here IMO.

Seems like a pretty easy call to me given odds and the described tendencies. With a 22% 3bet and high frequencies he's going to miss often enough for us to call off here.
